Ingathering
A missions fair and auction held each year on the first Saturday of November. Our site is at Iowa Wesleyan College, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. At 1st UMC, we assemble layette kits and school kits bound for Nigeria through the sponsorship of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.

Fellowship Cup
The Fellowship Cup is a ministry partner in the Mt. Pleasant and Henry County area. Their mission is to put “Love in Action” by providing food, clothing, shelter and other necessities to underserved individuals and families.
Iowa Wesleyan College
Founded by leaders of the newly formed Methodist Episcopal Church and members of the Mt. Pleasant community in 1842, this relationship between church and college has remained connected since that time until today.
