February 16 – 17th beginning the Sunday Worship Series: “Following the Way: A Lenten study based on the Revised Common Lectionary”
Do you want to go deeper into God’s word? Each Sunday through out the year are recommended list of scriptures called a “Lectionary”. This year you have the opportunity to “follow the way” of Jesus:
1. Read the assigned scriptures in preparation for worship each week.
2. Attend Saturday evening or Sunday worship to receive a scripture
based Message.
3. Pick up your own copy of the Lenten study book “Following the Way” to help you in your own
scriptural reflections (Books are available at the Welcome Center for a $8 donation beginning
February 1st.
4. Sign up to be part of a study group using the book : “Follow the Way” (Sign up at the Welcome
Center in the church Narthex)
